Janet Sussman has developed an original method of vocalization which resonates with the energy system to clear, strengthen and refine the articulation between the chakras. Her ability to sustain tonal frequencies has developed into a fully developed sonic language to which the human nervous system easily responds. These vocal treatments, combined with Janet’s in-depth subtle perception give the participant a unique window on his or her inner state.

In addition to working with the voice, Janet utilizes both acoustic piano and synthesizer to harmonize, settle, and clear the energetic bodies. Her improvisational music brings waves of color and light into the inner chambers of the spiritual heart, opening the participants to their own transcendental nature. Janet’s skilled sense of composition and ability to spontaneously transpose musical phrases soothes and uplifts the heart, supporting the listener to break through habituated patterns of the body/mind complex. Individuals and groups are inspired through the beauty of the music to rise to new understanding about their internal reality.

Janet gives full-length musical concerts in which she shares both keyboard and vocal compositions that bring listeners to a place of spiritual upliftment and awakening. She has brought out several professional recordings of her work including her most recent CD entitled Bridges.
